Rifat's Story — Learning Budget Betting Through the BPL Season
Rifat Hossain, 28, is a graphic designer living in Mirpur, Dhaka. He's had a passion for cricket since childhood. He'd heard about lv 10 from friends but held off for a long time before taking the plunge. He finally got started last BPL season with a small budget.
"At first, I had no idea where to place my bets," Rifat says. "I was mostly going on gut feeling. But as I started following the live stats on lv 10, I gradually learned how different teams perform under different conditions."
Rifat capped his daily budget at a maximum of ৳200 and never went beyond it. He set a deposit limit directly in the lv 10 app, which kept overspending off the table entirely. After six months, what he learned could be genuinely useful for a lot of players.
Rifat's Strategy That Actually Worked
Rifat says he never placed one large bet on an entire match. Instead, he spread smaller bets across different in-match situations — focusing on specific events like powerplay run totals or whether a target was achievable by the 10th over. lv 10's in-play betting feature was what helped him most with this approach.
Something else Rifat found valuable was notifications. The lv 10 app sends push notifications about odds changes before a match starts. He would use that window to place his bets. Since odds shift once a match is underway, he found that making decisions early gave him a real edge.
